Nov 23, 2009 - capitalism has it is own regulations. first, capitalism do actually require govt. a small govt would not create an incentive for lobbyist so it would be focused in protecting people from fraud. the free market also has regulations.monopoly in free market is the effect of good service/products at good price. competition is part of capitalism,it leads to lower prices. the companies can only have a monopoly if they work hard. socialism/corporatism = inflation, unearned monopoly,lack of competition.

The problem is that no regulation leads to top companies creating a monopoly, i.e. no competition, overpricing.On the other hand, the idea of socialism is nice, but doesn't work, since it does not reward good work. However, doctors want (and are required by hippocratic oath) to help everyone, not only the rich. With social healthcare, the tendency goes away from the expensive diagnostic treatment to a more healthy and cheap preventative treatment.

Nov 22, 2009 - Dr. Ron Paul was sidelined in the last election because he makes sense, is better educated and informed and has run his own business for years. He is the most popular congressman now. He also knows how the special interests are bribing our politicians so that lobbies buying opinions and votes and it shows. The regular US voter does not count like the lobbies. That has to stop. Nothing but bribes! Even a foreign country is able to "donate" to our politicians to buy them. How has that happened?
