Sep 20, 2009 - This girl deserves and environmental award. Has anyone shard this with an environmental organization? I have crocheted for years and this is an amazing idea. I thought they would be really stiff but they are not uncomfrotable.(the hats and they are waterproof.)Everyone talks about how bad teens are nowadays, well Done Bravo

Aug 1, 2009 - Go check out the Salvation Army store or other charity shops near you.They are the only places I buy my yarn. I get a bagful for 3 dollars. I gotten enough of the same yarn to knit and crochet socks, gloves etc. My last bargain was black silk 20 skeins!

Aug 1, 2009 - Don't be scared! Just start with the basics and take it one stitch at a time. You can get acrylic yarn for cheap, I know what you mean though, why spend money when you have plastic bags around the house already?! Good luck :)
