Nov 17, 2009 - Without question the R34 Tuned by Mines will out perform this car. Price will be in par

Nov 6, 2009 - Could take a loaded R8 v10 and supercharge it for that cost, and have a much classier car to boot.Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Nissans, I love my 350z, but once you break the $100k barrier, it's time to move to a more serious brand name.

Sep 25, 2009 - WTF are you babbling about?I didnt say anything about registering them or using them on the street.. All i said was you can import a GTR without having it crushed (which is what some guy had claimed) and that it could easily and legally be used as a race car.Learn some reading comprehension.

Sep 25, 2009 - towelman...give it up dude. you are being quite a bit biased. Lambo's and Ferrari's are beautiful cars there's no going around it, however they are quite unfairly overpriced, and not nearly as tune-friendly as a car like the skyline. in the tuning world, skylines are at the top, hands down. when tuned right, they can embarrass Lambo's and Ferrari's. as for style...its obvious you dont like them, but degrading the car isnt necessary when making a point. you dont like it, leave it at that.
DZeze Says:
Sep 25, 2009 - chris...do your homework brother. motorex was the last Legalized Registered Importer for Skylines. However, Motorex got busted for fraud when they were caught dealing with another company under the table. And the RI before that went bankrupt, so federally, it is illegal and can, and will be impounded, sent back to japan or crushed. like what jdub was sayin there are ways to goin around it like doin a swap on a 300zx and registering it as a kit buttttt..you're pushin it still.

Sep 15, 2009 - bad ass car. skyline is a complete beast...no argument

Sep 5, 2009 - exactly.

Sep 5, 2009 - It does work but you're better off twin turboing, better fuel consumption. they used to do it for airplane engines in WW2

Jul 27, 2009 - Are you guys really arguing about turbo/superchargers? Two different beasts that both produce monster horsepower. Hey, let's talk about the possibility of combining the two. Should work in theory no?

Jul 11, 2009 - look at all these guys, EACH one of them thinks they know every thing, and trying to show off how much they know about forced inductions, who cares if u can call a supercharger turbo, or if u can call a turbo blower, its all based on one theory... god u youtube guys r so dumb, just want ur selves to be so kool and so smart, that is just stupidity
paikmendez Says:
Jul 8, 2009 - Such quarrels over nomenclature! A turbo is never a supercharger, regardless of historical terminology. if you say blower I'm expecting you're talking about a roots style which last time i checked was twin screw. Other than that it can only be a centrifugal unit which in my opinion is not the stereotypical blower. Imagine i said this: 'Oh yeah, my 69 camaro w/ a blower on it.' You know you're picturing a big roots style on top with insane power and not a vortech unit, right?
spartan177saber Says:
Jun 10, 2009 - i think you missed what i wrote. a supercharger is a general term, even a turbo "works off the engine" cause it uses extra exhaust gasses (from the engine) to spin it. the connotation of supercharger is the belt or chain driven type though
geedunk13 Says:
Jun 10, 2009 - no a turbocharger works off the exhaust and a supercharger works off the engine
spartan177saber Says:
Jun 3, 2009 - a supercharger means forced induction system, it is not a type. a blower IS a type of supercharger, you are right. (to get my point across turbo use to be "turbo supercharger" and was shortened to "turbocharger" or most commenly used "turbo").
silviasr20det Says:
Jun 3, 2009 - There are types of forced induction systems. A supercharger is a belt driven forced induction system and a turbocharger is an exhaust driven forced induction system. They are similar but the words aren't interchangeable. And if a blower is a roots style supercharger wouldn't that mean that the word "blower" is slang for a type of supercharger.
